Absolutely. Every safari we offer is 100% customisable. Whether you want to add extra days, change accommodations, include specific activities like gorilla trekking or chimpanzee habituation, or combine multiple countries — we tailor everything to your preferences, budget, and travel dates.

We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for gorilla trekking permits which are limited and in high demand. For peak season travel (June–September and December–February), booking 6–12 months ahead is ideal to secure your preferred dates and accommodation.

Yes! We specialise in private, group, family, and honeymoon safaris. Family safaris are designed with child-friendly accommodations and activities, while group safaris benefit from special rates. We also cater to corporate retreats, birdwatching groups, and photography tours.

We operate throughout East Africa, with core destinations in Uganda (Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, Kibale), Rwanda (Volcanoes NP, Akagera, Nyungwe), and Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro). We also cover Kenya and can design multi-country itineraries combining any of these destinations.

Our packages typically include airport transfers, private 4×4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, experienced English-speaking guide, accommodation (budget to luxury), all meals as specified, park entry fees, permits (gorilla, chimp, etc.), and 24/7 support. Exclusions are clearly listed for each package — things like international flights, visas, tips, and personal items are not included.

East Africa is a year-round destination. The dry seasons (June–September and December–February) offer the best wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. The wet/green seasons (March–May and October–November) mean fewer crowds, lush landscapes, excellent birdwatching, and lower rates. Gorilla trekking is rewarding throughout the year.

Yes. All our guides are certified by the Uganda Tourist Board and hold valid guide licences. They have deep local knowledge, speak fluent English, and many are trained naturalists and birdwatchers. Your guide doubles as your driver, ensuring seamless, safe, and enriching game drives throughout your journey.

Safari is a wonderful experience for children aged 5 and above. We recommend game parks like Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls for families with young children. Note that gorilla trekking has a minimum age of 15, and some lodges have age restrictions. We will advise you on child-appropriate itineraries when planning your trip.

We accept payments in USD, KES, EUR, and GBP. Safari packages are typically quoted in USD, which is the standard currency in East African tourism. Bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and mobile money payments are all accepted. All payments are processed securely through Pesapal.

A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking and secure permits and accommodation. The remaining balance is due 60 days before your departure. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, the full payment is required at the time of booking.

Yes. All online payments are processed through Pesapal, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway used across East Africa. We do not store your card details on our servers. Bank transfer options are also available for those who prefer direct payment. A detailed invoice is generated for every transaction.

Yes. A PDF invoice is automatically generated and emailed to you upon payment confirmation. You can also download it at any time from your customer portal under your booking details.

Date changes are possible subject to availability. Changes made more than 60 days before departure are handled with minimal fees. Changes within 30 days may incur additional costs due to non-refundable bookings at partner lodges and permit fees. Contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, emergency medical evacuation, health cover, and personal liability. Medical evacuation from remote safari locations can be very costly without insurance. We can recommend trusted travel insurance providers upon request.

Visa requirements vary by nationality. Uganda and Rwanda offer easy online e-visa applications. The East Africa Tourist Visa allows access to Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya on a single visa — a cost-effective option for multi-country itineraries. Tanzania has its own visa. We advise you to check current requirements with your nearest embassy and can assist with guidance during booking.

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Uganda and is required when entering Rwanda from Uganda. We also recommend malaria prophylaxis, Typhoid, Hepatitis A & B, and Tetanus vaccinations. Please consult your doctor or a travel health clinic at least 4–6 weeks before departure for personalised health advice.

Mobile coverage is generally good in towns and improving in national parks, though remote areas can have limited or no signal. Most lodges offer WiFi, though speeds vary. We recommend embracing the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the wilderness — your safari guide will ensure your safety and communication throughout.
